11-year-old girl seriously injured in Uxbridge crash

Durham police say an 11-year-old girl was airlifted to hospital after a crash in Uxbridge.

Police responded to the collision at Lake Ridge Road and Highway 47 around 7 p.m.

The girl suffered serious injuries and the other people involved in the crash suffered minor injuries.

Roads in the area were closed for the investigation, but have since reopened.
