2 firearms, ammunition seized, 2 arrested near Jane and Sheppard

A man and a woman are facing multiple weapons charges after two firearms and ammunition were allegedly seized from a home in the Jane Street and Sheppard Avenue area.
Toronto police’s Gun Violence Suppression Unit executed a search warrant at the home on Monday.
A 9 mm caliber Glock 17 handgun and a .45 calibre silver revolver were allegedly seized along with 21 rounds of various ammunition and one magazine for 40 mm calibre ammunition.
Franklin Simon, 21, and Ansa Naveed, 22, both of Toronto are facing eight weapons charges each related to the seizure.
They were both expected to appear in court on Tuesday.
