4 people injured in house fire in North York

Four people were rescued from a two-alarm house fire in North York on Saturday afternoon.
Emergency crews were called to the Parkwoods Village and Combermere Drive area just after 3 p.m.
A woman and a child were rushed to the hospital in life-threatening condition. Two other children were treated for minor injuries.
The blaze has since been knocked down and all residents have been evacuated from the house.
Toronto Fire Capt. David Eckerman said the fire was reported by the owner of the home.
The Ontario Fire Marshall has been notified.
