Girl, 17, killed in North York crash

A 17-year-old girl who was trapped in a car after a two-vehicle crash in North York on Monday has died, police confirm.
The crash happened at Don Mills Road and Green Belt Drive.
Police say one of the vehicles struck a pole, knocking it to the ground. The teen girl was trapped for quite some time before being extricated and rushed to hospital.
She was later pronounced dead.
A second person escaped with minor injuries.

– 1 taken to hosp with injuries which appear to be life threatening, awaiting an update
– 1 person taken to hospital with minor injuries
– all NB lanes on Don Mills are currently closed
