SIU called-in after 5-vehicle crash in Brampton

The province’s Special Investigations Unit (SIU) has invoked its mandate after Peel Regional Police said an allegedly stolen vehicle was involved in a crash with five other vehicles in Brampton.

Police were investigating a stolen vehicle when it crashed into other vehicles at the intersection of Torbram Road and North Park Drive shortly after 4 p.m. Tuesday.

Two male suspects who were in the stolen vehicle tried to flee on foot after the collision but were taken into custody.
