Two people were injured, one in life-threatening condition, after a two-vehicle crash in the city’s east end on Tuesday.

Emergency crews were called to the intersection of Lawrence Avenue East and Kennedy Road just before 11 a.m.

Police said a vehicle was heading west on Lawrence towards Kennedy when the driver made a left turn at the intersection and collided with another vehicle travelling in the through lane.

The first vehicle rolled over and struck a traffic light. A 59-year-old man in that vehicle suffered life-threatening injuries.

A 30-year-old woman in the second vehicle received minor injuries.

Police are asking anyone who may have security or dash-cam footage of the area or incident to contact them.
