Chefs’ Warehouse: 2Q Earnings Snapshot

RIDGEFIELD, Conn. (AP) _ The Chefs’ Warehouse Inc. (CHEF) on Wednesday reported a second-quarter loss of $20.3 million, after reporting a profit in the same period a year earlier.

The Ridgefield, Connecticut-based company said it had a loss of 57 cents per share. Losses, adjusted for one-time gains and costs, were 52 cents per share.

The distributor of specialty food products posted revenue of $200.5 million in the period.

Chefs’ Warehouse shares have dropped 69% since the beginning of the year. The stock has fallen 67% in the last 12 months.
