Man in his 70s injured in crash at Dufferin and Wilson

A man in his 70s suffered serious injuries after the vehicle he was driving crashed near Dufferin Street and Wilson Avenue on Thursday.

Police responded to a call for a collision in the area around 2:30 p.m.

They say the car struck a post and came to rest on the wall of a gas station.

The man was reportedly trapped in the car but fire crews managed to get him out.

He was taken to hospital with serious but non-life threatening injuries.
