1 dead in shooting near St. Clair and Runnymede

A 26-year-old man is dead after he was found shot in the parking lot of a Walmart in the city’s west end.
Emergency crews were called to the area of St. Clair Avenue West and Mould Avenue near Runnymede Road around 1:45 p.m. on Thursday.
Witnesses on scene told 680 NEWS they could hear two people arguing for close to a minute before gunshots rang out.
The man was pronounced dead at the scene. He has since been identified as Andre Rodriguez, from Toronto.
Police say they are looking for a male suspect who drove off in a white SUV.
Police are asking anyone who knew Rodriguez or who had contact with him over the past week to call them.
Investigators also seeking dashcam footage from drivers who were in the area between 1 p.m to 2 p.m. on Thursday.
