Woman hit by truck in Vaughan left with life-threatening injuries

A woman has been taken to hospital with life-threatening injuries after she was hit by a vehicle in Vaughan, say York Regional Police.
It happened at Rivermede Road and Bowes Road, near Highway 7 and Keel, Friday morning around 8 o’clock.
The truck remained at the scene.
Rivermede is closed in both directions.
