1 killed in North York triple shooting

One person has died after a triple shooting in North York early Saturday morning.

Toronto police were called to a building near Whitburn Crescent and Keele Street just after 5 a.m.

Officers arrived on scene to find a person suffering from serious gunshot wounds in the building. Life-saving measures were attempted, but they died of their injuries.

Two others were shot, but their injuries are not being considered life-threatening. They have been taken to hospital for treatment.

There have been no suspect descriptions released at this time, but police say two men were seen fleeing the scene.

The Homicide Unit is taking over the investigation.
