3 men injured in Regent Park shooting

Toronto police are on the hunt for two suspects after shots rang out overnight in Regent Park injuring three people.

Officers were called to Dundas Street and Regent Park Boulevard around 11:30 p.m. Tuesday to reports of gunshots.

Three victims were found at the scene suffering from gunshot wounds.

Police say four men, believed to be in their 50s and 60s, had gone to get a coffee and were sitting and chatting in a a parked car, when two gunmen approached and opened fire.

One victim was taken to hospital with life-threatening injuries but is now considered to be in stable condition.

The other two were taken to hospital with serious injuries. Officials say they are also now in stable condition.

The fourth man was not injured.

Witnesses said they saw one of the suspects running from the scene on foot. He is described as a tall, thin man.

Both suspects then fled the area in a grey Toyota RAV4.
