Man, 21, charged in Eglinton West shooting death

A 21-year-old has been arrested in connection with the shooting death of a man in the Eglinton West area of the city last weekend.

Officers responded to reports of shots fired in the area of Keele Street and Eglinton Avenue West just before 2:30 a.m. Saturday.

When they arrived they discovered a 36-year-old man suffering from gunshot wounds in an apartment unit. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

The victim has been identified as Donald Leroy “Smokey” Marson of Toronto.

On Friday, police arrested Prince Cameron and charged him with first degree murder
