As we celebrate the holiday season, Toronto officials have launched their holiday vaccination campaign with a focus of setting up COVID-19 clinics at busy malls right across the city.

“We know when vaccine clinics are easy for people to access and in areas where they are shopping or running errands, they will get vaccinated. Vax The Holidays is one more way we are working to highlight these very local clinics in areas where we are working to drive up vaccination rates,” said Mayor John Tory.

Team Toronto adds its “Vax The Holidays” clinics will also offer shots for first, second and third doses in community centers, schools and places of worship over the next month.

The mobile and pop-up clinics are open to anyone born in 2009 or earlier.

Clinics offering shots this weekend:

Saturday

  • Lawrence Allen Centre – 11 a.m. to 6 p.m.
  • Martin Grove Mall – Noon to 6 p.m.
  • San Lorenzo Church – Noon to 4 p.m.
  • Stockyards Village – 11 a.m. to 6 p.m.
  • Waterfront Neighbourhood Centre – Noon to 4 p.m.
  • Yonge Sheppard Centre – 11 a.m. to 6 p.m.

Sunday

A full list of community-based clinic locations and operating hours can be found on the City’s COVID-19 page.

A health card is not needed at COVID-19 vaccine clinics; but, individuals must bring some form of ID.

As of now — more than 85 per cent of eligible Toronto residents are fully vaccinated — and city officials hope this holiday campaign will bring them closer to their goal of getting 90 per cent vaccinated.
