One man has been arrested and charged after he allegedly sexually assaulted two 17-year-old girls at Finch subway station in Toronto.
Police responded to a call at the station around 10 p.m. on Friday. They say the two victims were in the bus bay when a man approached them from behind and sexually assaulted both of them.
The suspect allegedly followed one of the girls, who fled to the outdoor bus platform. One TTC worker stepped in to help, and the man went back into the subway station. No injuries were reported.
After issuing a public warning and suspect description, on Saturday, police arrested 34-year-old Romeo George Wilson.
Wilson faces several charges, including two counts of sexual assault and criminal harassment/intimidating behaviour.
He appeared in court on Sunday.
