Strong winds are wreaking havoc, and likely to blame for glass falling from the CN Tower on Thursday.

The Toronto landmark has since been shutdown, and there are some road closures in the area.

On Twitter, Toronto police say Bremner Boulevard has been blocked off between Lower Simcoe and Navy Wharf Court as CN Tower staff work to secure the area.

People are being advised to use caution if they need to walk through the area.
