2 men in custody after crash involving police cruiser

Two men are in custody following an early morning crash in Brampton involving a police cruiser.

Peel police say the incident occurred just after 4 a.m. in the area of Highway 410 and Steeles Avenue and involved “numerous vehicles”.

Two men were taken into custody while one man was taken to a local hospital for treatment of minor injuries.

A police officer was also treated for minor injuries on scene.

Police have not provided any details on the circumstances that led up to the crash.
