Man stabbed ‘number of times’ at Mississauga bus stop, police investigating

Peel police are investigating after a man in his 40’s was stabbed multiple times at a bus stop in Mississauga on Wednesday afternoon.

Officers responded to a call in the Derry Road East and Torbram Road area around 4:45 p.m.

The victim has since been taken to a trauma centre. Police say his condition has been upgraded to non-life threatening.

Peel Police tell CityNews it appears the two males were at the bus stop and exchanged words over the volume of music. The suspect asked the victim to turn his music down before pulling out a knife and stabbing him numerous times in the upper torso.

The suspect is being described by police as a Black male with short dreadlocks wearing a dark grey jacket, dark pants, and black shoes.
