Man killed, another with ‘very serious’ injuries in north Etobicoke shooting

A man is dead and another is in ‘very serious’ condition following a shooting in north Etobicoke.
Police were called to a housing complex in the area of Mount Olive Drive and Kipling Avenue just before 6 p.m. Saturday following reports of multiple gunshots.
When they arrived they located a man suffering from serious gunshot wounds. He was transported to a trauma centre, where he was later pronounced dead.
A short time later police reported finding a second victim suffering from ‘very serious’ gunshot wounds more than a block south of the original shooting. He was also taken to a trauma centre.
At this point, it’s uncertain if the second victim is related to the first shooting.
There was no immediate suspect information or any other details as to what may have led up to the shooting.
