Lots of huge stuff entering the MUST-WATCH Top 10 this week! Could the top spot go to the return of a Star Wars favourite, or perhaps the latest from madman Tom Cruise? Perhaps it’ll go to the big screen version of an animated show? You’ll have to keep reading to find out!
Obi-Wan Kenobi
Where to watch: Disney+
Hello there!
Obi-Wan Kenobi is the latest show in the Star Wars canon, and it features the return of Ewan McGregor (from Trainspotting and Moulin Rouge) as Ben Kenobi. Formerly Obi-Wan, the Jedi has lived on Tatooine in hiding for a decade keeping a watchful eye over the young Luke Skywalker. But when he hears that Luke’s twin sister, Leia Organa, has been kidnapped by bounty hunters, he knows he must jump into action. He travels across the galaxy to reach her, even learning his brother-turned-nemesis has survived. And Darth Vader (played by Hayden Christensen from Jumper and Takers) is angry. This show also stars Benny Safdie (from Good Time), Kumail Nanjiani (from Eternals), and Moses Ingram (from the Queen’s Gambit).
You can watch the first two episodes on Disney+ now, with the other episodes coming out weekly!
The Bob’s Burgers Movie
Where to watch: Cinemas
Now it’s time for an animated musical!
The Bob’s Burgers Movie is the big cinematic adaptation of the currently 12 season long show Bob’s Burgers. Just like the show, the movie stars H. Jon Benjamin (from Archer) as the titular Bob. In the movie, his family restaurant is at risk as they only have one week to repay a business loan or lose all of their equipment. And right as this happens, a giant sinkhole opens right in front of the store. Will they be able to make their payment, or could this be the end of Bob’s Burgers? The movie also stars David Wain (from Stella), Zach Galifianakis (from the Hangover), and Stephanie Beatriz (from Brooklyn Nine-Nine).

Strangers Things (Season 4, Volume 1)

The first volume of the fourth season of Stranger Things is out now! In this new season, we find the gang split in half. Eleven (played by Millie Bobby Brown from Enola Holmes) has moved to California with Joyce (played by Winona Ryder from Heathers) and her children, and she’s also lost her powers. As she tries to fit into a very new setting, the remainder of the gang back in Hawkins finds they’re growing up in different directions. Eventually a new threat emerges from the upside down, one that could that tear apart the entire world. And the answer to destroying it lies in Eleven’s history back in that dangerous lab.
You can watch the first 7 episodes of this season on Netflix now, and the last two come out on July 1st!
Kick Like Tayla
Where to watch: Amazon Prime Video
Now, let’s take a look at a sports documentary!
Kick Like Tayla is a documentary about the career of Australian footballer Tayla Harris. She’s a young woman who became very accomplished in her field very quickly. In 2019, she became the infamous target of a large amount of online harassment after a picture was taken of her in mid-air after kicking the ball during a game. This led to a great deal of online sexual harassment that greatly hurt her mental state, but as the documentary shows she’s staying tough.

Top Gun: Maverick
Where to watch: Cinemas
Lastly, a legacy sequel to put the rest to shame!

Tom Cruise plays Capt. Pete “Maverick” Mitchell in Top Gun: Maverick from Paramount Pictures, Skydance and Jerry Bruckheimer Films.
Top Gun: Maverick sees Tom Cruise (from Collateral, Magnolia, and the entire Mission Impossible series) return for one his biggest box office openings ever! This sequel sees Maverick being forced into teaching a new group of pilots. They include hotshot Hangman (played by Glen Powell from Everybody Wants Some!!), Phoenix (played by Monica Barbaro from the Good Cop), and Rooster (played by Miles Teller from Whiplash). Rooster in particular has a bone to pick with Maverick because he’s the son of Goose from the first film (and we all remember what happened to Goose). These new pilots have a dangerous mission they’ll have to accomplish, and they can only do it together.
