Provincial police say a 20-year-old man wanted in connection with a fatal shooting on Manitoulin Island last month may be in the GTA area.
OPP say 32-year-old Cheyenne Malcom Roy was shot and killed on the Sheguiandah First Nation on June 24 in what they describe as a targeted incident.
Police have charged 55-year-old Sherry Eadie from Northeastern Manitoulin and The Islands and 25-year-old Darcy Shawanda from Whitefish River First Nation with accessory after the fact to murder and obstruction. Both are scheduled to make a court appearance on July 20.
An arrest warrant has been issued for Hanif Duncan of Hamilton, wanted for second degree murder. He is described as Black, between five-foot-eight and five-foot-10 inches tall with a slim build and long dreadlocks.
Investigators say they believe Duncan may be in the GTA or Hamilton areas. Anyone who spots him is asked to call local police.
