Man killed in stabbing in a North York plaza

A man has died following a stabbing at a plaza in North York early Friday morning.

Officers were called to the plaza at 1027 Finch Avenue by Duffern Street just before 12:30 a.m.

The victim was located in a parking lot, suffering from life-threatening injuries. He died of his injuires on the scene.

Toronto police have not released any suspect information or any further details about the victim at this point.

The homicide unit has taken over the investigation.
