Toronto police have arrested identical twins that were allegedly involved in the stabbing of a man in the city’s downtown core.

On July 9, shortly after 10 p.m., investigators were called to the Bay and Front Street West area for reports of a stabbing incident.

It’s alleged that at around 9:30 p.m., a 20-year-old man was approached by two other men. An altercation ensued, and the victim was stabbed and seriously injured.

The two suspects then fled the area.

On Thursday, authorities arrested 18-year-olds Kye Lucchesi and Sebastian Lucchesi of Toronto. The identical twins were charged with aggravated assault and assault with a weapon.

Both men appeared in court yesterday.
