1 dead, 1 critically wounded in Mimico shooting

One man is dead and another is in life-threatening condition following a double-shooting in Mimico.
Police say they were called to Mimico Waterfront Park in the area of Mimico Avenue and Lake Shore Boulevard West just around 8:30 p.m. Thursday following reports of “multiple gunshots” heard and upwards of 15 to 20 people possibly fighting in the park.
When they arrived they found two victims in their late teens or early 20s suffering from life-threatening injuries.

Despite life saving measures being performed on scene, one man was pronounced dead.
He’s since been identified as Tenzin Rinchen, 19, of Toronto.
A second man was taken to a trauma centre in critical condition.
Police have not said what the relationship is, if any, between the two victims and the potential suspects.
There’s been no suspect descriptions released at this point.
