Ilya Samsonov stopped all 28 shots he faced for his second-straight shutout, and the Toronto Maple Leafs continued their winning ways on Tuesday, routing the Anaheim Ducks 7-0.
Alex Kerfoot scored two goals, and Mitch Marner extended his consecutive point streak to 23 games with two assists.
Marner is now three games back of Chicago Blackhawks winger Patrick Kane (2015-16) for the longest point streak among active NHL players.
Both winger Pontus Holmberg and defenceman Conor Timmins had three assists on the night, while John Tavares, T.J. Brodie, Michael Bunting, Pierre Engvall and Joey Anderson scored for Toronto.
It was Anderson’s first goal as a member of the Maple Leafs.

The Leafs have at least a point in 15 consecutive games (12-0-3) and can tie the franchise record of 16-straight Saturday at Madison Square Garden against the New York Rangers.
