Man seriously injured in Mississauga stabbing on board a transit bus

A man has been rushed to hospital after being stabbed in Mississauga Friday afternoon.
Peel police were called to Dixie Road and Dundas Street just after 4 p.m. for reports of a stabbing on board a transit bus.
Investigators say a suspect was engaged in a verbal argument with the victim when he then allegedly stabbed the victim several times before exiting and fleeing the area.
The victim was taken to a trauma centre with serious injuries. He is currently in stable condition.
The suspect is described as male, six feet tall and wearing a light-coloured hoodie and a dark jacket.
