Siobhan said that Shannon had chosen the ticket and the family instructed her on which numbers to play.

“I am so excited thinking of all the opportunities,” Siobhan said. “I got the phone call and was shell-shocked,” added David Quinlan.

Some members of the family plan on paying their bills, while others admitted to saving it. The big family win comes one day after three Costco employees from the GTA won $1 million through the Lotto Max Draw.

Lotto Max is $5 per play and draws take place Tuesdays and Fridays.
