Power restored downtown Toronto after ‘loss of supply’ from Hydro One

Toronto Hydro says power has been restored to the areas of the city’s downtown core affected by an outage Monday due to a “loss of supply” issue from Hydro One.
The power was out from approximately from St. Clair Avenue West south to Wellesley Street and Ossington Avenue, and east to Mount Pleasant Road.
“We’re investigating an issue affecting power to Toronto Hydro and their customers. We are working together to restore power as quickly and safely as possible,” Hydro One tweeted earlier.
“Our crews are en route and will provide an ETR once more information becomes available.”
The power outage occurred around noon, affecting up to 1,000 customers.
In an update around 2 p.m., Toronto Hydro said “power has been restored to all customers.”
