Meet the key characters in ‘Veracity: The Bitcoin Kid’

A 17-year-old from Hamilton stole $45 million in bitcoin, back in 2020, marking one of the largest heists of cryptocurrency ever reported.
In the latest documentary from VeraCity, we take a deep dive into how the theft unfolded and speak to those directly invovled, some opening up for the first time since the heist.

Josh Jones is a bitcoin pioneer becoming one of the earliest investors in the digital currency and is based in Los Angeles, California. He found great success as an early investor, his wealth is estimated to be in the billions.
In 2020, he discovered that someone had hacked his phone and successfully stole $45M worth of crypto currency he was holding.
