Suspect arrested after man stabbed during argument at Scarborough home

Toronto police have a suspect in custody after a stabbing in Scarborough early Monday morning.

Toronto police responded to a home in the area of Bellamy Road North and Amberjack Boulevard near Ellesmere Road just after 6 a.m.

Police say two people were involved in an argument when one person was stabbed.

Paramedics say they transported a man in his 30s to hospital with serious, possibly life-threatening, injuries.

Another person was also taken to hospital with minor injuries.

Investigators have not provided details of the suspect arrested at this point.
