Man seriously injured in Etobicoke stabbing

Two people are in hospital with injuries following a stabbing in Etobicoke.

Police say they were called to a residence in the area of Dixon Road and Highway 401 just after 10:30 p.m. Thursday night.

When they arrived they found a man suffering from stab wounds. He was taken to a trauma centre in serious condition.

Paramedics say a woman was taken to a local hospital with minor injuries.

Police have not said if they are looking for any suspects at this time.
