Central Technical School briefly locked down after reports of person with gun

Central Technical School was briefly placed in a lockdown on Monday afternoon after reports of a person with a gun.

Police were called to the high school in the Bathurst Street and Bloor Street West area at around 3:09 p.m.

The lockdown was lifted at around 5 p.m.

There are no reports of injuries and police say no gun was found.

Officers are remaining on scene to ensure that staff and students are safely dismissed.
