Love & Death
Where to watch: Crave
First up this week, a look into some true crime!
Love & Death is a miniseries created by David E. Kelley (the creator of Boston Legal and Big Little Lies), and it’s about the real life trial of Texan housewife Candy Montgomery (played by Elizabeth Olsen from Ingrid Goes West). She was accused of murdering her close friend Betty Gore (played by Lily Rabe from American Horror Story). Candy does admit to having an affair with Betty’s husband, but will not confess to her brutal, bloody death. She goes to trial, with the people of Texas seemingly more angry that she had an affair than the fact that a woman had died. This show also stars Jesse Plemons (from The Power of the Dog), Krysten Ritter (from Jessica Jones), and Tom Pelphrey (from Ozark).
