One dead, one in hospital after shooting in Aurora

One man has died, and a woman is in hospital after a shooting in Aurora on Monday afternoon.
York police responded to a call at approximately 12:17 p.m. in the residential area of Stubbs Lane, near Leslie Street and Wellington Street East.
A man was pronounced dead at the scene, and a woman was transported to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
A police spokesperson tells CityNews a suspect entered the home and shot occupants inside a residence, noting that it appears the shooting was targeted.
Police are asking residents in the area to check home surveillance and dashboard cameras for footage between 12:00 a.m. and 12:30 p.m. and to flag any suspicious activity to police.
