Woman dead, others injured in multi-vehicle crash in Brampton

A woman has died, and others are injured following a multi-vehicle crash in Brampton that appears to have involved a transport truck.
Peel Regional Police were called to the Kennedy Road South and Steeles Avenue East area just before 4:30 p.m. on Friday for reports of a collision.
An adult woman was pronounced dead, police said.
Peel paramedics tell CityNews a man and a woman were also transported to a local hospital in serious but stable condition.
Three vehicles were involved — two sedans and a transport truck.
There are road closures in the area, including westbound at Steeles and southbound at Kennedy.
