Montreal man wanted for attempted murder after violent robbery in Toronto

Toronto police have identified one man wanted in a violent robbery that involved armed suspects attacking and seriously injuring a victim for their car keys.
Officers responded to an unknown trouble call in the Adelaide Street West and Bathurst Street area just before 11 p.m. on June 4.
Toronto police said three suspects were driving a silver Toyota RAV4 at the time of the incident. The three armed men, one wielding a sharp weapon and another a baseball bat, approached a victim and confined them to a stairwell.
It’s alleged the victim was slashed repeatedly in the face, and one of the suspects robbed them of their vehicle keys. The victim suffered serious injuries, police said.
The three male suspects fled the scene in the silver Toytota RAV4 and the victim’s grey Mercedes sedan.
Police identified one of the suspects involved in the robbery as 29-year-old Carlos Perez Terrero of Montreal.
He’s facing a slew of charges, including attempted murder, conspiracy to commit an indictable offence, aggravated assault, weapons dangerous, robbery with an offensive weapon, theft of a motor vehicle, possession of property obtained by crime over $5,000 and failing to comply with probation.
