CityNews 680 traffic reporter Kyle Hocking was over the scene in a chopper and says it appears a black sedan and white sedan were involved in the crash.
“Looks to me like one of the two vehicles may have tried to avoid the other at the last moment,” says Hocking. “There’s fairly heavy damage to the black sedan at the front end, the white sedan has some damage at the front but quite a bit of damage to the passenger’s side. It looks like it may have been more of a glancing blow.”
Westbound traffic on the 401 was being forced off of the highway at Guelph Line but all lanes reopened just before 9 a.m.
