Police searching for suspect in Brampton shooting

Peel police are asking for the public’s assistance in locating a suspect after a man was shot in Brampton.
Officers were called to the McLaughlin Road and Marycroft Court area at around 3:11 p.m on Wednesday.
Police say the suspect and victim, who are believed to be unknown to each other, became involved in a verbal argument that led to the suspect allegedly shooting the victim several times.
A male victim was located with injuries and taken to a local hospital.
The suspect has been identified as 23-year-old Damian Solomon from Brampton.

If located, the public is urged not to approach him, but rather contact 911 as he may be armed.
