Toronto driving instructor, 72, charged with sexual assault

A Toronto driving instructor has been charged with the alleged sexual assault of a woman during a recent driving test.

Police were called to the Sheppard Avenue East and Rylander Boulevard area on Sept. 15 for reports of a sexual assault.

It’s alleged that on Sept. 12, a 24-year-old woman was with the male suspect, who was her driving instructor.

After completing her driving test, police said the suspect approached the victim and sexually assaulted her.

On Sunday, police arrested 72-year-old Henry Cheng of Toronto. He’s been charged with sexual assault.

The accused is scheduled to appear in court on Nov. 9, 2023.

Police believe there may be more victims.
