NORTH CHARLESTON, S.C. (AP) — In a story published Sept. 18, 2023, The Associated Press reported the distance between the debris field where the missing fighter jet was recovered and the location of Joint Base Charleston. The story should have made clear that it was about 60 miles (96 kilometers) away, not two hours.
