‘Chain reaction’: 4 school buses involved in multi-vehicle crash in Mississauga: police

Four school buses were involved in what police called a chain reaction crash involving up to seven vehicles in Mississauga.

Peel Regional Police were called to the Queen Street and James Street area just before 9 a.m. for reports of a collision.

A police spokesperson tells CityNews that up to seven vehicles, including four school buses, were involved in the crash. A pick-up truck and two other vehicles were among them.

One of the buses had students on board, but none of the children were injured.

One of the school bus drivers was taken to hospital with minor injuries.

The driver of the pick-up truck, an adult man from Mississauga, was charged with dangerous driving.

The investigation is ongoing.
