Woman in critical condition, 2 others injured in Mississauga crash

A woman is in critical condition, and two others were injured following a multi-vehicle crash in Mississauga on Monday evening.

Peel Regional Police say they were called to Ridgeway Drive and Burnhamthorpe Road just before 7 p.m. to reports of a collision.

Toronto paramedics say a female driver believed to be in her 30s or 40s was taken to a trauma centre with life-threatening injuries while two others were assessed at the scene for minor injuries.

It’s unclear what led to the crash.

Drivers were encouraged to use alternate routes.
