Man arrested for allegedly breaking into a Canadian Tire in Oshawa

A 40-year-old man has been charged for allegedly breaking into a Canadian Tire in Oshawa.

Durham Police say the incident happened on Dec. 24, around 5:10 a.m., at the Canadian Tire automotive store, located at 1333 Wilson Road North. 

Investigators say officers arrived on scene and located the suspect who fled the area on foot, and then engaged in a short foot pursuit before taking the suspect into custody. 

It is alleged that the suspect was linked to a previous break-and-enter at the same location.

40-year-old Tyler Leo LAZURE, from Oshawa is charged with two counts of Break-and-Enter and two counts of Fail to Comply with Probation Order. 

He has been held for a bail hearing.
