The Halton Regional Police Service has renewed its warning to parents and students about the dangers of the “Assassins Game” following a series of recent incidents.
This game, popular among high school students, involves participants “eliminating” each other using water or Nerf-style guns in various public settings.
Police said some of these toy weapons closely resemble real firearms, leading to multiple emergency calls from concerned bystanders.
Police emphasize that the game poses significant safety risks and can lead to criminal charges.
Authorities are encouraging parents and guardians to speak to their children about the risks associated with the game.
