TTC subway service resumes on Line 1 following emergency track repairs

The TTC says subway service has resumed on Line 1 following emergency track repairs.

Service was shut down between Sheppard West and Lawrence West stations just before 10 a.m. on Friday, and shuttle buses were running along that stretch.

Subway service resumed an hour later, around 11 a.m.

It’s not yet known what led to the track repairs.
