Police investigate after body discovered near conservation area in Hamilton

Police in Hamilton are investigating the discovery of a body in the area of Fifty Point Conservation Area.

Investigators said in a social media post around 9 a.m. on Sunday, there would be a large police presence in the area of Fifty Road and North Service Road.

Authorities do not suspect any foul play.

“We appreciate the public’s patience and cooperation as investigators work to determine the circumstances surrounding this incident,” police wrote in an update around 4 p.m.
