Man hit by pickup truck in Scarborough, critically injured

A man has been rushed to hospital with life-threatening injuries after he was struck by a pickup truck in Scarborough.

Emergency responders were called to the area of Kingston Road and Manse Road around 1:44 p.m. on Wednesday.

Police say the driver remained at the scene.

One westbound lane of Kingston is open.
