Tom Cannon is the type of athlete who just doesn’t know what it means to slow down. At age 70, he’s been playing in the same Friday afternoon pickup basketball game for 35 years, and he’s loved every minute of it.
“This is for exercise and camaraderie, because it’s brain food. It makes you healthier and it keeps you young,” he said.
Tom has been an insurance agent all his life, and he’s also an inspiration to his younger opponents and teammates on the court.
“It’s terrific and an inspiration to play with a guy that’s spotting everyone at least 30 years,” said James Sbrolla.
