A 30-year-old Mississauga man is facing 15 charges after a slew of gas station and convenience store robberies over the weekend.

Toronto police said between Saturday and Sunday, a man robbed five gas stations or convenience stores in the west end of Toronto, including one location in Vaughan.

The suspect, donning a scarf over his face, reportedly entered the businesses, demanded money and threatened to assault the employees who didn’t obey his commands.

Police said no one was injured during the incidents.

On Monday, police arrested Karthik Poologanathan and charged him with five counts of robbery, five counts of disguise with intent and five counts of failure to comply with probation.
