New Condo Project Draws A Crowd

There’s no denying it – Toronto’s condo market is booming.
Even though prices for downtown units continue to skyrocket, there’s no sign of the market slowing down. Proof of that was evident Thursday morning as realtors and prospective buyers, some of whom had been there since a day earlier, lined up outside the Beyond the Sea development on the lake in Etobicoke.
The ground hasn’t even been broken on the project yet, but that didn’t seem to matter.
“It’s right on the lake, and real estate is really hot right now. People really want these lakefront properties. You have to wait your turn to get it,” explained Century 21 realtor Paul Mieczkowski.
Agents won’t get to see the model units until 6pm Thursday. There’s also a two-unit limit.
